A group of people becomes a high performing team when the team consistently delivers strong results beyond individual capabilities. It achieves this through healthy, sustainable ways of working built on clear purpose, structure, and trust in each other. Put simply, in a high-performing team, members know why the team exists, how they work together, and feel safe enough with each other to do hard things well.
So, are you working in a group or a high performing team? Here’s a table to use as a quick diagnostic. Use it to reflect on what you could do to turn your group into a high-performing team. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
